InterCity MainLine's Liquid Lunch
will be part of the September XVII event in Bristol on the 17th of September. InterCity MainLine's Liquid Lunch will feature a custom Gazebo opposite the Orchard Inn Pub on Hanover Place, in between Spike Island and The Diving School, Bristol and we will be launching Issue#2, the Norwich Issue, with a feast of street drunk champagne.

A city-wide event across Bristol with spaces open from 12pm - till late
September XVII is a mixture of exhibitions, events, screenings and talks
across the city of Bristol. Established galleries, ambitious off-site
spaces, innovative artist-led groups and studio spaces adapted to a
variety of buildings will be open to all with maps and further information
available on the day from Spike Island, 133 Cumberland Road, Bristol.
Spaces and groups involved and opening for the day include Spike Island,
Works|Projects, Arnolfini, Picture This, Bristol Diving School, northcabin,
twelvethirty, Intercity Mainline, Station, Format, Plan 9 and many more.

Events include:

Membership Schemes – Reunion, Exchange and Debate
1pm - 3pm, Associates Space
Spike Island, 133 Cumberland Road, Bristol
An event that reunites members of the original steering group for the Spike Island
Associates programme, to discuss the inception of the scheme and the artist-led
activity that preceded it. This discussion will then open out to include those active in
similar schemes around the country, to debate and exchange knowledge about their
purpose, efficacy and structure.
Chaired by Megan Wakefield, whose PhD with Spike Island and University of the
West of England investigates peer learning between arts practitioners in such groups
and networks.
